Argiolas
Right from the start, ours was a family business. Founded by our grandfather, it was later consolidated by our father, Antonio, now 94 but still active. Man of high moral strength and very determined in his choices and strategies, from our early days he passed on to us his great passion for oenology. When we finished university, we decided to start working full time in the company and to carry out a process of renovation of the farm on the one hand and of the cellar, on the other, by using the latest developments in technology and the most traditional standards in structure. Supported by the precious co-operation of dr. Giacomo Tachis, and by the strength of three generations of hard work, sacrifice and passion, in 1991 there was a turning point in the development of our company with the creation of the Argiolas brand and the subsequent distribution of our products in various regional, national and international markets. Confirmation of the rapid and positive performance of the Argiolas brand comes from numerous quotes in national and international food and wine guides and from the many prizes both our wines and oil have been awarded in international competitions. These results have a double meaning, both for our company and for Sardinia. As well as representing the final acknowledgement of the Argiolas cellars' high production quality, they show that Sardinia has what it takes to provide excellent wines to the global market.
