Valle Reale
Brilliant garnet in color with intense purple tones. This young red offers explosive aromas of blueberries and sweet cherries, with notes of licorice and spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and plush, with loads of fresh red fruits. Easy going and ready to be enjoyed, this is a versatile, authentic Italian red: delicious by the glass and perfect with hearty food such as eggplant parmigiana, meat-based pasta, sausages, meatballs and salami.

The 2009 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Vigne Nuove is a fresh, unoaked red with beautifully plump, juicy red fruit that layers nicely into a delicate, feminine finish. Floral notes add lift and freshness. This is a steal for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2013.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
